
How to get to Andorra: Practical Guide (Bus, Train, Car)
Nestled between France and Spain, Andorra has no airport or train station on its territory, but reaching it is easy thanks to excellent road connections. Here are the main ways to get there.
Arrive by car
The most flexible way to reach Andorra.
From France

Main access via N22 through Pas de la Casa, coming from Ariège (Foix, Ax-les-Thermes).

Mountain roads: winter gear (snow tires or chains) may be required.

From Spain

Entry via N145 from La Seu d’Urgell, usually easier and more weather-stable.

Arrive by bus
A convenient and popular way to reach Andorra.
From France

Toulouse – Andorra: several daily departures from the bus station and the airport.

Travel time: 3.5 to 4 hours.

From Spain

Barcelona – Andorra: direct buses from El Prat Airport

Lleida – Andorra: useful for passengers arriving by high-speed train.

Arrive by train
No train enters Andorra, but several nearby stations provide easy access with a connecting bus.
From France:

Ax-les-Thermes or L'Hospitalet près L'Andorre stations, with a shuttle to Pas de la Casa or Andorra-la-Vella. Be carefull with the schedule, only a few buses come each day. You can buy your tickets here.
From Spain:
